Anyone has any recommendations for a private school (Kindergarten all the way to high school) in the Clear Lake/Friendswood/League City area? Considering private schools for my daughter for the 2008-2009 school year (she will be in Kindergarten then) and wanting to see what my options are. I know of Lutheran Academy South and Bay Area Christian School..anyone know anything about those, and any other ones?

Steer clear of Bay Area Christian. I had two children there until I found they were getting a sub-standard education. Lutheran South would be my choice.

Have two kids one went to Lutheran South and the other to a public school in an unfortunately for him not-so-highly rated district. The one at Lutheran South certainly fared no better than the one who went to the public school -- in fact public school child scored higher on SATs and better academically at college. CCISD and Friendswood both have excellent ISDs so I would have no worries sending my kids to those publics.

I'm going to reopen this thread and ask the question again. Does anyone have any recommendations on private schools in the Clear Lake, Friendswood area? I am looking at Bay Area Christian and Lutheran South Academy, though I think LSA will be out due to the cost since I would have 5 kids attending. Thank you.
