I am moving to Houston end of the year with my family. I have a 5 year old son and am looking for an elementary school for him. Basis the school would rent an apartment in the school zone. Would appreciate recommendation for both a school and neighbourhoods

But really, you DO need to consider work location when deciding where to live.

This is Houston and it's freaking HUGE.

There's a "best" in every area.

1. Budget/ living criteria bedrooms, etc
2. Work location
3. Budget
4. Work location
5. What you want amenities wise - do you want city downtown life, quiet suburbs with running trails, sidewalks, trees, community pools, etc.
6 and 7. Budget and work location

Elementary standards are quite low in Texas, making a vast majority of elementaries a safe bet.

Schooldigger.com is a great resource once you figure out where to live.
