My wife are planning to move to the east side of Conroe near FM 1485 and was curious about the area. Is it crowded, high crime rate? Any info would be great

Hard to say for the exact location, but there are a lot of burglaries in the area. Lot of poor people in that area who don't have jobs and whatnot.

I believe crime rate is the highest in Montgomery County around that area, or close to Cleveland/New Caney. I do know there are lot of DWI accidents around that area. Having not lived there, or any I know lived there, I wouldn't know from hands-on experience. All I can tell is from reading the weekly The Woodlands Villager for a long time and sometimes skimming the Montgomery County Police Reporter. Good Luck on your search.
