Hello guys, I have recently graduated from nursing school. I turned 28 a few months ago. My brother just moved into the Lakeshore area in Humble/Atascocita. I went to help him moved, and saw the place. It's the neighborhood after Summerwood. I like the houses in Lakeshore, but I also drove around the Summerwood area and it looks really nice.
I've always wanted to move back around that area. I have grown up on Mesa drive (the neighborhood opposite of Fall Creek). Back then Fall Creek was just a farm with a bunch of cows. I was surprise by what it has turn into.

Well anyways I want to move back around that area. I want a safer place to stay, plus I love the trees and parks and water in that area. Can I afford a home in the Summerwood area being a nurse? I'm not married or anything with no kids yet. My mom will probably moved in with me as well because she will probably want to be close to the grandkids.

There are tons of threads regarding Summerwood and the neighborhoods up here. Check out Houston Real estate, Houston homes, Houston Realtors - HAR.com to see what kind of house you can afford in Summerwood.

Have a job lined up before the move. You may or may not be able to afford a house depending on what type of degree you have (LVN, RN, etc)
