School district lines are more or less set in stone - they are very difficult to move (and rarely do) and aren't subject to the whims of the current public opinion. There is an extensive legal process involved that I don't pretend to be an expert on mandated by either the county/state/both. Now, zoning within a particular school district is reviewed often.

To answer your question, Aliana will stay in FBISD.

Just to give you an example:
A portion of Pecan Grove in Richmond is zoned to LCISD, and the other is zoned for FBISD. It has been that way since the inception and growth of the neighborhood over 20 years ago. By the same token, a majority of Cross Creek Ranch is zoned to Katy ISD schools, but a small portion of the neighborhood was built over the school district boundary line into LCISD's jurisdiction. Those homes are zoned to LCISD - end of story. District lines stay the same.

I agree with NTexas2010 and I'm familar with the Aliana situation becuase it's currently overcrowding my child's school. But as the other poster said, district lines stay the same and are very hard to change. School zoning in a particular district can change as often as every school year.

School districts stay the same but they do redraw the lines to what areas go to what schools withing a district. New schools get built and the lines are moved are a prime example.
