Anyone recommend a good lawyer for DWI/DUI cases in Houston? I saw some big names (ads for Trickter) but they have offices in multiple cities. Looking for one with Houston knowledge.

Todd Overstreet used to work with Trichter before he went off on his own. Trichter is awesome. I heard he chargers over 20K. Todd is who my lawyer friends recommend. I think everyone in Houston should have a lawyers number in their cell. It is sad, but I feel it is just a matter of time before a young person gets a DWI in Houston.

It's certainly not, as long as they don't drink and drive.

If the case involves a blood draw or breath test, call Jay Cohen.

Yes he used to work with Trichter and then branched off on his own. Todd is a very competent attorney who also has worked as a prosecutor in Houston's civil courts. You can get the same quality of representation that you would get with Trichter as you will with Todd without Trichter's price tag.

Yes, I don't know a soul that does not. Houston is a spread out city with crappy public transportation. That is just the reality. I try to cab it a lot, but I also live 3 minutes from all the fun places. Most people are not going to pay 30 dollars each way for a cab. I wish there was rail running to the suburbs. I think that is why I love partying in NYC. You can go out drink and not worry about driving.

I know a lot of people who do not DUI, it's called maturity. I find it unnerving how so many people are still nonchalant about drinking and driving these days, even after some horrific examples in recent years and with serious jail sentences for the offender.

Who is the attorney that used to have the radio commercials where he talked about the "roadside gymnastics" the police try to make people do? Those commercials were great.
