I doubt Shell does. At least with Exxon, they already had a ton of employees in Greenspoint. So they already had a ton of employees living up there. Shell is currently expanding their campus off of Dairy Ashford and 10, so I doubt they make a move.

that was one of the reasons i was so skeptical about this. and the fact they signed a lease in downtown through 2025.. supposably there are more workers scattered across the area though.

Completely untrue about Shell or Phillips moving to the Camp Strake area. Who starts these rumors anyway? Absolutely not happening.

Probably the same people who have connections about Disney building here or there.

It would not bode well for the City of Houston. Perhaps this is a wakeup call for the city that too many regulations are causing business to open outside the city limits. It takes almost 3 times as long to open a business in the city limits as compared to one on the same road, just a block over the city limit due to the revenue generating regulations the city has. Regulations are good, but they do have unintended consequences.
There's no shortage of new businesses starting within the city limits. It's a huge boom inside and outside of the city limits.

Yeah, there's no way that this is happening. Shell just finished a major renovation of their Westhollow campus on Highway 6 and as mentioned, they are doing a major expansion at Woodcreek. Any additional consolidation would have to be on the west side of town.

What? Realtors create rumors to sell houses?

Shell is in the final stages of adding several new buildings at their Wood Creek campus. The old Pitney Bowes buildings will probably be demolished at some point and allow for another set of large buildings in the future.
A move to the north side, and especially as far out as Strake is not going to happen.

That isn't to say some other major oil company won't build out there, but it won't be Shell.
