I live in the area, have had ATT for the past 9 years and have never had issues, a dropped call here and there but nothing crazy.

Ever since I switched to Samsung Galaxy (currently on the S5) I have not had any issues.
While I don't get full bars, I am able to make and receive calls just fine.
Sometimes the issue is more the phone than the service provider.

Here's a screenshot showing 4/5 bars of reception
Can you hook me up with your employee discount at AT&T?

I have T-Mobile and seems to work fine in my house at Falcon Point East. I get 4G LTE all the time. But I have been to other areas in 77494 where I had only edge "E" network. But I was able to make calls fine from those places, just not the high speed internet.

So, services does vary within 77494 as it is quite a large area.

I'm in the same zip (I just had a post about this topic!) and have sprint... Awful! Can't make calls or send texts unless it's through iMessage. I'm still deciding on a new carrier. So far everyone recommends verizon or AT&T. They are upgrading towers etc but who knows how long that will be.

Verizon, AT&T and T-mobile... Have had all 3 and they all suck in this zip!
The one thing that has helped us is getting an antenna from at&t to make calls thru the wifi while inside the house...
That solved all of our problems...
I bought it used on ebay... about $100...

I just got a text from AT&T yesterday saying they were building a new tower at Fry and Westheimer Pkwy. Hopefully that helps the terrible service I get in that area.
