It'll be tough to find a 3/2 in Robindell for less than $150k. Maybe a 3/1. Good luck though. Great neighborhood for the price.

Any sewage problems you have shouldn't cost the difference in purchase price between two comparable homes in both neighborhoods. I would ask some of the neighbors what the issues have been if you are interested in a specific home.

They are redoing the sewer lines all over the SW side, so it's just a matter of time before they get to those neighborhoods.

That being said, I do prefer the Robindell neighborhood.

I have a good friend in Braeburn Valley West and they have had no sewer issues. They are on Silkwood.

My ex is much closer to the bayou, but I'm thinking it's her house more than anything. I think she got a lousy inspector.

I really like the neighborhood, but I tell you what. My daughter was supposed to take the bus to H.S. from Valley West. We walked towards it to see what it was like, made it to the pool and she said, "Dad, let's turn around!"

Might be a clog or damage to the line that runs to her house. If it were an area thing the neighbors would probably also be complaining and the city would have come out.

Thank you. I'm hoping for a 3/2 in my range over there, but I guess I could suffer the indignity of a 3/1. Now, a 3/1.5 and I'm smiling again.

Good to know about the sewer lines. And good advice about asking the neighbors. Thanks for both.

Yes they are replacing all the aging 60's sewer lines here and filling the old ones.

I was on Silkwood today, and it looked quite nice.
