Looking outside the Inner Loop now to Fulshear, Lakes at Bella Terra, Richmond or newer subdivisions north on the Grand Parkway in Cypress. Perhaps even buying land in Brookshire and building. Our need for the peace and quite of the country is kicking in after 7 months in the city. What would the approx. commute time be leaving at 6-6:30 am and 4:4:30 at night?

6 or 6:30 and 4 or 4:30 makes a 15 minute difference. It's about 30-40 mins. The majority of the backup is from Mason to Dairy Ashford in the morning and the Belt to barker cypress in the afternoon.

I do it every day. I usually leave around 645-700 and it takes about 45 minutes. I leave work around 1630 and it again takes about 45 minutes. On the days I've stayed late I notice the exit from 10 to 99S isn't as bad around 1715. If there's an accident, though, you're boned. It has taken me up to 1.5 hours to get to work on a bad day. Traffic from Mason to DA is pretty bad, but it really stacks after you get to 6. That's every day, though.

Where do you work, by chance?

I am coming in from I-10 and Eldridge area and going into the heart of Fulshear, it takes me 45 minutes with minimal traffic. This is going opposite of traffic.
