Hello,
I have recently moved to Houston with my husband and 9 month old. We have been living in westmore at bellaire for the last few weeks. But I'm finding it difficult to keep the baby entertained here because
1) there are not many families with children (who don't go to daycare)
2) Indian families here do not really want to mix
3) there is no play area inside the complex or parks within walking distance
4) husband travels 4 days a week so I really need a friend circle to be able to spend time and manage well

Therefore, I'm looking for an apartment where families with small children live. Do you know any apartments with a play area/ play room/ small play ground inside the complex?

Location doesn't matter. Happy to consider places outside the loop.

What is your budget?

I don't mean to pick on the OP, but nearly everyone asking for where to live advice doesn't list the most important thing: budget. It's impossible to make recommendations without one.

Why don't you just join a club or mom's group? There are tons all over the city.
There are also baby playtimes and classes at various locations. Many are free such as at the libraries.
Meet up.com is a good starting point. The children's museum has a baby area with events too.

Packing up and moving in order to have a swing set outside your front door is quite extreme.
You sound like a bored, lonely, stressed new mom. You just need friends, not a new lease.
