Holy cr.p, this summer was horrible
I love hot weather, but it seems like we had 9 months straight of 90s

Well, I just saw the forecast and finally we are done with the 90s.

Yes, I love heat in general, but finally tired of it this summer. This summer did not have record heat, but overall it was probably too long.

It's still too damn hot. I never thought I'd say I miss the cold and rain of the pacific northwest but I am missing it so much right now. I'm ready for a little bit of fall. Just a little. C'mon.

I'm ok with summer heat... but I'm missing my seasons right about now. I just need a break.

Are you sure we are done with the 90s? How frequently do cold fronts push through this time of year?

I'll be so happy when the highs are consistently in the 70s.

Statistically speaking, we are normally done with 90+ degree highs in the Houston area in mid to late September (clearly, this year took longer than average.)

Intellicast - Local Weather Forecast, Reports and Maps

October is the month of change, seeing the average high go from 86 on October 1st to 77 on October 31st.

I hate to say this but the forecast for Sunday and thereafter is for highs to be in the mid-to-high 80s.

It's normal to have 90+ temps from mid-May to mid-October. Seems like a normal summer to me. Actually, August seemed to be slightly cooler than normal to me.

Still darn hot! I want snow this year!

Hard to believe that Houston averages only 99.6 days per year with high temperatures of 90°F or more.
