Why does your child think every black man he sees on TV is Obama?

I think "stuck up" has more to do with the people, not skin color. I know people who make about $5K a day and you would think they are broke. Not flashy at all. I know people who think they are Michael Dell and can't stop talking about they have $500K in the bank and think they are high society.

Yet even if they don't look like they make 5K per day does not mean they don't think they are better than those who are less successful. You can certainly be frugal and stuck up at the same time.

Generalize much? Personally, I know quite a few "affluent" to wealthy people, and most of them are not "stuck up". Some are, of course. The same you can say about people, who don't have anything, some of them trying to do better, some think, that society own them... whatever.
Point is- you'll find all kind of people in every group.

Well this was a joke, and was really more accurate during the last election when he was on our TV more and we were discussing him more. And my son was 2. But my point was that we don't have many black people in our neighboring streets, and therefore there aren't many at my son's school, and considering that makes up our social network, that leaves us with few/no black acquaintances, especially ones we know by name. So the one black man he sees us call by name repeatedly is Obama.

This is just incorrect and sad to see.

You don't want to be around stuck up people, but you only want to live next to people making six figure incomes. Got it.
