Nobody is saying "Stop everything"

But it would help to stop bringing the Super Bowl

Wow we agree. Spend that money on preventing flooding.

Here's the Water Development Board agenda item for the loan https://www.twdb.texas.gov/board/201...oard/Brd02.pdf

Vote the way you want, but be fully informed. Personally, I am voting for the infrastructure bonds and the pension bonds after reviewing the facts, the alternatives, and the pros and cons.
The mayor is the one preventing anyone from taking action on flooding. He won't do anything at all to help because "when it rains hard there's nothing you can do."

Turner is the one who voted no everytime on flood relief.

He is the one who has murdered reform in its cradle so we will keep flooding forever under his policies.

Turner is the "do nothing Neanderthal." Your straw man attacks are absurd.

I fully support doing the infrastructure bonds after we get good faith action on flooding. Since that hasn't happened, vote them down.

If we don't send a message on flooding, companies won't relocate here in the future. Houston is getting a reputation as a third world country.

But the partisan hacks on this board are fine with that apparently. They don't care that the city floods in a hard rain. They represent how city hall thinks too. That's why you must vote no to the Infrastructure bonds, to send a message that we don't want to accept this any longer.

That's been going on way before Turner took office
So I find it hard to believe that "it hasn't been fixed because of Turner"

In my opinion, I would personally offer to transfer place and somewhat like sell your house and move to another place. That is why I am here in Arlington, TX.
