Any advice on a dentist in the houston/katy area that might give a reasonable price for a night-time guard?

My dentist quoted me $800! $500 seems to be a reasonable amount.

Figured I would check here to possibly save a little cabbage.

Cheers

My husband had a night guard made a couple of years ago for about $400, that's with dental insurance.

Bayou city smiles gave me mine for cheaper.

For what its worth, I lose stuff a lot, and almost got one of the ones offline from amazon to use. They mold to your mouth and you cut off the extra, and I think its really cheap. If I was to lose mine again (I think I bought 3 of them), I'd probably go that route. I have friends that have, and they haven't had any negative side effects.
