Hello all, I am currently trying to choose between these 2 neighborhoods for moving, Lakes of Savannah (LOS) and Sienna Plantation (SP.) LOS seems to give you a lot more house and land for your dollar but my concern is that there isn't really much community, and i'm not sure how property values will hold up in the long run. You get less house and land dollar for dollar in SP but it has good schools, and a well established community. Assuming that both neighborhoods manage to stay relatively safe, low crime places which do people on here recommend? Also can anyone who lives or has lived in either neighborhhood share their likes/dislikes, pros/cons? Thanks.

I completely agree. If I was choosing between those two neighborhoods, I'd gladly give up some square footage to be in Sienna versus Savannah. Depending on what section and price range you're in, Sienna can have some really good buys. I saw a 10-year old 4,000 sq ft Perry house out there that's been updated and has a pool - it's pending at $385k.

Thanks for the input. If you don't mind can you send me a link to that listing?

If distance is an issue LOS all the way. Sienna, depending on where you live, can be way out the way.

Now once the Manvel Town Center gets going LOS now has another option off 288 for retail as your basically stuck in Pearland or go up to Sienna/Mo. City area. LOS is in no man’s land also in terms of a city so all you have is county services and the Brazoria County wind insurance that’s Mandatory

Like others have said, go with Sienna. About 10 years ago a co-worker that lived in LOS was ambushed in the back roads that lead to the neighboorhood. He was able to get away and sped off but got a bullet hole in his car door as a souvenir. I know it's just anecdotal but that incident made me view that area in a different light.
