We are moving to Houston in May. She got a job in Pasadena and mine is in the medical center. any idea of nice neighborhood in between two? Just to mention we have no children so school is no problem.
How is the neighborhood in Pasadena? I heard its a very small and old city with a lot of illegals. Is that true?

Depends on what you are looking for. Most of the neighborhoods between the two are older with a more city-type feel. Idylwood, www.idylwood-houston.org (broken link) is very nice. Parts of Meadowcreek Village are nice, parts are not so nice, same holds true for Glenbrook Valley, www.glenbrookvalley.com and Eastwood, www.eastwood-houston.com

Those are probably going to be the most interesting choices in that area.

Well, the areas in north and central Pasadena are mostly Hispanic and mostly low income. The area is heavily industrial, giving the area the nicknames "Stinkadena" and "Pasa-Get down-Dena."

Southern Pasadena is mostly lower middle class.

Far Southern Pasadena consists of part of Clear Lake City and some seaside areas along the Galveston Bay. They are mostly middle and middle upper class. A condominium called the Endeavour is in the Pasadena city limits and is in this section.
