Default Lone Star Rally

Hey everyone - I am on an e-mail distribution that shows what is up and coming from Clear Lake all the way to Galveston.

Apparently they've been informed that at this point the city still wants to have the Lone Star Rally. It says:

"The good news is that the City of Galveston has asked us to remain in Galveston and to keep the dates the same. So, The Lone Star Rally will happen in Galveston Oct 30th thru Nov 2! Everything will remain the same only better. We are now officially the Rally to Rebuild! We encourage everyone to come and help rebuild the Galveston economy."

For all you bikers and non-bikers this would be a good event to support your community. If you are a non-biker, take a drive to the island (if you are worried about rowdiness around your families then go during the day -- a lot of beautiful bikes to look at and interesting people watching.

Thanks so much for the link. I had been looking for something like that to give us a heads up on the happenings around town.
We did the Lone Star Rally last year. Not on bikes, but took one of the cars down and cruised along. Great time...although not sure it is a "family" atmosphere. During the day is much "calmer" than the evening hours.
