Odd thing is people around here thought I talked proper.
But people of these places had very strong accents , not country but different esp in cali
Yeah; it's weird growing up in Texas being told you talk proper or don't sound like you're from here; than go elsewhere to be told you sound country lol

That's how it is here. People in Huntsville are very country, but they don't have a dialect like the rest of Alabama does. When someone from Huntsville comes to the town that I'm from, they sound "proper," but to a northerner they sound no different from the rest of us Alabamians.

lol I know, I was like or you sure Im country.
Everytime I open my mouth, I was country..lol

And They do not distinguish between our version of country, they just think we all talk country

that punch line ->" wow people talk more countrier [im not even sure if that is a word] than you".."it cannot get any countrier than you" lol
