I bought a 21" flat-screen TV and a mounting kit online and am trying to find someone who will install it. The cable hookups are all there. (It's for my computer room. I already have a small TV mounted on the wall there but it died and the new TV is its replacement.)

When I bought my large flat-screen TV's, I had an excellent handy man mount them on the walls -- but he isnt in the business anymore.

Do I look for a general handyman? If so, does anyone have any suggestions? Will places like Best Buy send someone out to do this kind of work? Thanks!

Best Buy will most likely charge 2 arms and 2 legs. Definitely shop around.

Steve, I'm not a man. I'm a woman who is still recovering from a major stroke three years ago. Before that, I did everything myself. But now, after much physical and occupational therapy, I'm thrilled just to be able to walk and talk almost normally. (I still cant write but thank goodness for computers.) I'll save my energy for my continuing recovery and let someone else DIY for me.

the mounting will likely cost more than the TV.

A guy (or girl) friend should be able to do it for a lunch or dinner. BB will charge about $150 for the service.
