We (the U.S.) has already given Haiti BILLIONS of dollars in "aid" in recent decades which has for the most part been stolen and squandered by corrupt government. We have already given MORE than our share to a country and people who have shown that they are NOT capable of having a viable country or using said funds responsibly.

This country should be dissolved, the citizenry repatriated to the DR and other welcoming countries, the entire half of that island should be bulldozed and cleared and walled off letting it revert back to nature for the next 50 years.

There is not sense perpetuating the corruption, waste and misery that has been this miserable excuse for a country for the past 200 years. Put it out of its misery already.

Thanks Hank. We could say alot of the same things about the U.S. Government, State Government, Local Government, and any of it's derivatives.

But, I understand what you are getting at. City Data and the Internet is your playground. Remember to stay on the internet where you won't actually hurt anyone okay?

Also, it is more likely that you are someone sock puppet on City Data that doesn't really want to say these things with their main account. If you aren't a troll, then I am one of those real Americans everyone keeps talking about.

The Government won't say it, but the dirty little secret for the past 40 years is that they are more than happy to flood this once great, independent nation with dependents and people who will someday vote for increased government handouts, a larger nanny state, while allowing more government intrusion into your lives.

Then, they'll stick the middle class with the bill and sink them into dependency.

And then then they will start the Death Panels for sure. Dude you might want to stick to what your user name is. Leave the critical thinking to others. Because your thinking is pretty critical already.

Haitian evacuees huh?

No thank you. We already have uneducated Mexicans roaming our streets destroying things. The last thing we need are foreigners who are less skilled and even less intelligent.

What if we had them destroy crummy apartments on 1960? How would you feel? (as if the demolition crews involved would have anyone else)

Anyway, let's not pretend like the humanitarian effort in Haiti is solely a U.S. effort. We're only joining the rest of the civilized world.

Senegal (a country in West Africa, in case anyone wonders where or what Senegal is) has even offered an entire province for displaced Haitians to live.

Permanently.

Troll. Stay on the internet where you won't actually hurt someone, haha.

Also like Jfre81 said. There were other countries in Haiti even before America was I think. I think one of them were the Philippines.

Kid, you ought to get off the computer and go do your homework.

You don't want the teacher to be cross with you, do you?
