I agree. It almost makes me glad they have waited for this project though. I think in the past, it would have been half done without as much input from the people involved. This seems like a much better quality project giving those who will be using it most more input.
Wow that park looks legit! They are really going to go all out on this and build it properly. I didn't expect them to build one bowl, let alone three of them.
Very nice to see. Hopefully this sparks more redevelopment at the park and they can do this rather quickly rather than having years between renovating the various sections at the park.
HUNTINGTON – One of the most well-known organizations in the skating industry has awarded the City of Huntington funding for a skate park.
City officials were notified Tuesday that the Tony Hawk Foundation has approved a $5,000 grant application that was submitted in December. The grant, which requires a local funding match, will go toward Phase II of construction of the skate park at Harris Riverfront Park.
Other than the pictures above, are there any other details describing the structure of the park? The rendering above is from a while ago and we all know how renderings can change from time to time. It's been a while since any of that was mentioned.
Wow thanks! I actually went to their website and looked up and down for it. Then here you are just posting it like it was cake. Lol. Thank again though
