For those of you who like tomatoes, the annual tomato festival is coming up this weekend (Aug. 8) in Huntington. From the website "Prizes are awarded for the largest tomato, ugliest tomato, and the best homemade salsa. There is also tomato sampling and recipes." This is in addition to the farmer's market. The Rib and Music Festival is coming up next weekend as well.

That's sounds interesting, unfortunately I am stuck in the house for a month. But I have to say that the tomatoes have been especially good this year.
