Has anyone heard a projected date for when this store is supposed to open? The sign in front only says '2012', but that isn't very useful. Just curious.

That Wal-mart is not in Madison, it is in Huntsville. If you live in Madison and want to support Madsion sales tax, then don't shop at that one.

Today Zaxby's put a sign up on a lot in the front.

Also another fast food restaurant is being built. If I had to guess from the shape, it's a Krystals. Hope someone can confirm what it really will be.

There is a carwash sign up too.

Is this related to what was the Panda chinese restaurant that closed about 15-16 years ago, located at the corner of Church Street and University in Huntsville ?

I don't believe so. Panda Express is a national chain ( Panda Express | Chinese Food, Wok-Cooked and Served Fast ). It's not good food and expensive for what you get.

Opinion. I happen to like some of the dishes - Firecracker Shrimp, to name one.
