Is there a boat slip anywhere in Madison to launch a boat or is Ditto Landing in Huntsville the only option in town? And what about getting the kayaks out on the water? I ask because as we’re relocating from the Shoals where I’ve pretty much grown up on humongous Wilson Lake and wide expanses of the Tenn river. Easy access to the river would be nice if possible.

Thanks

Triana has a boat ramp. Here is a list of public boat ramps in the area..

AWFF Boat Ramps and Fishing Access in Wheeler Lake from Decatur Upstream

Also there is a ramp on the arsenal if you have arsenal access.

Hey I'm a pretty avid kayaker and if I want to go out on the TN I usually either launch from Ditto or the park right before you cross over the bridge to Decatur. I'm from Madison and it's a lot faster to use the Decatur launch however I never feel really safe about leaving my car there unattended while I'm out on the water. I've never had any issues however so I may just be paranoid.
