Hi - we are getting ready to move our family and business to Huntsville, AL and we were looking for any information that could be provided to us!

Our business will require a warehouse or retail space that will allow some kind of storage of overstock merchandise and since we dont know very much about the surrounding areas any info would be great! and appreciated! Our business is an ebay consignment shop. Thanks in advance for any help provided!

Amy

You shouldn't have any problem finding a suitable retail space and or a warehouse space . There are quite a few avalible. but dont wait to long There are 8000 families set to start moving here over the coarse of 2 to 4 years from the department of defence in Arlington Vaginia. A lot of support contractors are set to make the move with them. So some of that space could be disapearing . But right now there is plenty, and in just about any part of the city. The Meridian St area has 2 to 3 Thats close to the 5 points area which caters to a host of specialty shops. Andrew Jackson Way is the same way. West Huntsville has quite a few buldings that are vacant as well as retail space even the south end has a lot of retail space avalible. I'll see if I can get you a name of a commercial realty broker that can give you some better details. I dont know where you are moving from but Im sure you will love here. Lots and Lots to do in Huntsville

They have recently built a little complex what looks to accommodate your needs right off Governor's West near the light at Madison Blvd. It is brand new and doesn't seem to have any tenants yet. Lot's of traffic today for people coming from Madison going to Bridge Street. It is worth a look.

I would hope that sometime in the past 7 years since the OP started this thread, they have already found a location.
