Wells Fargo has gotten much better.

Recently I have been able to deposit really wrinkled checks without issue.

I deposit 3-4 checks on a given week. It has been a HUGE help.

I've tried bb&t and it was pathetic. Plus the wait time for funds to clear was unacceptable when I could just drive 3 miles to the bank and do a deposit and have it the next day.

I since switched to redstone and sadly theirs is pretty bad as well. I guess the technology of the idea hasn't quite caught up to our need for speed.

I was complaining to a vet friend of mine FOR NOT USING THEM!

Well for banking anyway.

I have to admit that it has been a good company for us. I feel so fortunate to be able to use them!

So, it seemed that a USAA commercial I saw was implying that if any family member (in this case my wife's father who has passed on) served in the military, that his kids would be able to use USAA?

I believe that was the indication.

I believe that is correct. Give them a call if you would like to ask directly, though. They have always been incredibly nice and helpful when I've needed to call. And you usually get a live person on the phone very quickly unless they are just swamped. Even then, I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes.
