I need to do a lot of tree clean up at one of my relative's homes and cannot get my chainsaw to work. I only bought it 8 months ago so I want to try to get it fixed. I have no idea where to take it to have someone work on it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I use Buddy's Small Engine for repairs - it is on Triana north of Bob Wallace.

Another vote for Buddy's Small Engine. Had lawnmowers repaired there.

And use no ethanol gas from gas stations.

Probably gunked up carb from the gas you get at most gas stations. You need non ethanol fuel that a few stations sell or Buddys has fuel for sale also.

Another vote for Buddy's. As well, I've had good service from Hill's Lawnmower on Andrew Jackson. There is a place near Madison - on Hwy 72, just past the County Line/Old Rail Road Bed intersection --- on the right hand side of 72 if you are heading West to Athens. I haven't personally used them, but have heard good reviews.

I believe the Liberty 2000 at the corner of Drake and Jordan sells non-ethanol gas. As well, the Phillips 66 on the corner of Hughes and Madison Blvd also has a non-ethanol pump, but they also take a handsome mark-up.

Buddy's is authorized to work on just about everything.

Hill's is pricier.

I only use Buddy's.
