Hello everyone. We are looking @ some Property offers in the Gurley
area (Near Huintsville). Anyone knows the area - Good for Families?
Also: Even though I know it's been asked before. What kind of "Critters"
are calling North Alabama Home? I live here on Floridas Westcoast and
are certainly not afraid of bugs-Had close encounters with Palmetto Roaches,
Carpenter Ants, Red Ants plus Alligator and Rattle snake Vis-A-Vis, just want to know what Alabama Folks are dealing with ) . Thanks for your replies!
Steve

Well lucky for you, alligators are not a very common sight up here. And if so, they are usually being beat down on football field. I hope that helps some.

More rat snakes than rattlers ... but there are rattlers too... just not as much.

Tennessee River has alligators. Most often you find them in the shallower sloughs such as Limestone Creek and Flint Creek.

I was unawares about the alligators. Thank you for that info. I was very ignorant to that. Also, I was recently told we have a chigger problem too? Is this correct? I am actually highly allergic to them and the sores around the waist line is not to be taken lightly.
