It really depends on the area you are in and how old the infrastructure is in your neighborhood. If you have a DOCSIS 3.0 modem in my neighborhood you get 8 downstream and 4 upstream channels. Many people still have old equipment and old cabling. That's not to say WOW doesn't have their issues. If you want speed and no data caps then WOW is for you.

Although it may be all said and done for you...for Uverse sometimes you have to keep calling and asking. Even if the website says your address isn't available. Even if the first couple of operators tell you no. Sometimes they will change their minds or move a certain area up on the queue for install if they get enough requests.

That does not sound like the start of a good relationship.

Yeah they'll so hate cashing your check every month as opposed to you being someone elses customer. And since AT&T is such a small mom and pop company youll always deal with the same person every time you call creating some awkwardness.

All I'm saying is, if you want Uverse - don't take the first no, especially if it is just the website telling you that.
