I'm hearing they closed down for good as of today. I haven't eaten there in years and don't eat at chains often anyway. I always thought they had solid food and service back in the day. But based on recent reviews I'm reading on the Internet, they had been in dramatic decline. That's too bad. I'm sure the demolition of Madison Square didn't help business either.

Sad as it may be, I do think we have some other quality Italian restaurants in town to pick up the slack. Terranova 's comes to mind.

They changed their menu some years back. They were also serving their entrees on these oversized square plates as if it was some sort of fine cuisine or something. It was just a little too much. Carraba's was better for that type of Italian food.

Went there once. I don't care for bread dipped into oil; give me real butter.
I prefer Olive Garden.

That location has been going downhill for many years. I remember when there was a line out the door. Last time I was there (2+ years ago) I was one of about 5 tables on a Saturday night. Service was awful.

I ate there once, thought it was just mediocre and never cared to go back.

I am not really a fan of Italian restaurants. Many dont seem to be any better quality than Chef Boyardee but priced way too high. I do only enjoy Olive Garden for their soup, salad, and bread sticks lunch. But man, the one here in Huntsville smells like baby vomit.

I could say the same about Mexican, but Huntsville sure loves some Mexican food.

Coming soon to the vacant building Macaroni Grill once occupied. Another top notch Mexican restaurant.

There was one in Akron that was one of our favorite places. It was always crowded and always good. This was in the 1990s. That place burned down, and we moved, so we haven't been to one here. Do they still have live opera singers?

Now you have me curious, so I will go to the Macaroni Grill here in Savannah.
