I saw a sign for a new Breland Homes development. Their website is pretty thin at this point. Is Louis Breland building homes again or is DR Horton just marketing under that name? Something else?

He is focusing on townhomes right now, and it is Breland NOT Dr Horton. There is supposed to be some residential at the Clift Farm development so that could be some SF as well, I'm going to the groundbreaking next Wednesday so hopefully he will talk about what he has planned. He also has some residential planned for Town Madison.

The sign I saw was off of Old Railroad Bed, next to Bridgewater

Breland must really think this area is going to boom. He has projects going on just about everywhere.

Huntsville is booming...growing with people from everywhere coming to work at Redstone-NASA-Boeing (mainly these places). There are houses/communities going up everywhere! I love what Mr. Breland did off Old Railroad Bed Road? Beautiful homes/beautiful communities! Will someone tell me the difference between a townhouse and a regular Ranch House? Thank you!

Going to? We're in the middle of a boom in this area...there's residential and large scale commerical development going on everywhere in the Huntsville-Madison area.

Townhomes are attached, meaning shared walls with your neighbor(s). A ranch is detached.

I actually meant "further booming", but I believe I've read that we're the 30th fastest growing metro in the country, so there are places that are booming more than we are (percentage-wise). It's going to be interesting to see the population numbers after the 2020 census, but those results are over two years down the road. I think they will be larger than the estimates. Regardless, AlDoT needs to start doing some major highway impovements here before it's too late.

I just wish my house would boom back to what I paid for it back in 2007.
