So they bulldozed the beautiful forest on the corner of Balch and Capshaw like 2 years ago now and it's been a barren wasteland since then. What's up with that lot?

The NW quadrant? Probably more houses, since that area is surrounded by houses and it's vacant now.

This is Madison Counties biggest negative is the **** poor design and management of our forests and tree canopies.
Instead of intelligent and thoughtful design keeping as many trees as possible the carpetbaggers slash and burn then leave. We are destroying the very thing that makes the area attractive.

SW quadrant. It was slated for commercial development at one point.

It's like they are playing Sim City. Bulldoze to a flat spot and build.

They still haven't done anything with the lot. I'd be mad if my house bordered on it.
