I think you summarized the situation perfectly.

Even if Biden decided to keep it in Colorado Springs, Trump would almost certainly delight in reversing one of Biden's decisions. If it's DeSantis, he might move the whole thing to the Cape. Ha.

It’s sad the USA hasn’t had a legit President since when ? Reagan , Bush, Kennedy Truman, Lincoln?
Instead it’s clowns, incompetents and lawbreakers.

Presumably our Congressional representation won't tuck tail and run from this. The "reason" for Biden's direction isn't a reason at all. The whole thing is far from over. The main thing that Colorado has going for it is a more senior and Democrat representation in the House and Senate, and they have Biden's ear. It's 100% political.

It's time for Katie to get out there and draw a line in the sand.

Washington, DC is going to have to deal with her for a long, long time. The clowns making these decisions will be dead and gone before she even gets any wrinkles.

According to the White House that has no bearing on the decision.
So now they are lying and violating DoD policy.
Unless the decision is awarded as the process determined, we’ll see

To remind everyone on timelines, General Nicholson (SpaceCom Chief) said back in a December that “the final decision will be made soon” (it’s in this thread). At least with elections, you cannot perpetually delay to appease politicians.

Blatant lies are a daily thing, not only with this administration but all of them.

The decision was made a couple of years ago. The "re-decision" may be something entirely different. Notice he didn't define "soon". I believe he made that comment last fall. It was kinda funny that a senior general officer, head of the Command, didn't know what the decision was nor the criteria were that led to the decision.

Thanks for the correction on terminology. You’re right. Decision was made. Thank goodness BRAC wasn’t delayed for a decade.

I didn’t find it as funny that the 4 star didn’t know the cities in the same reports that impact his command, every day.
