It is on Old Madison Pike between Slaughter and Hughes, you can't miss it, it sits on the North side of the road.

8324 Madison Pike to be exact.

Here is the description from the Madison Parks and Rec Dept:
"The Dublin Memorial Park Facility includes an outdoor swimming facility with baby pool and diving well, a double court gymnasium equipped for basketball and/or volleyball with an upstairs walking track, a 25-yard heated indoor swimming pool, multi-purpose room, meeting rooms and administrative offices. A walking trail, five (5) soccer fields, a community built playground and seven (7) tennis courts are located within the 60 acre park. An amphitheater, four (4) additional soccer fields and sand volleyball courts will be added in later phases."

1) making out on Monte Sano
Moderator cut: inappropriate comment
3) going to the adult video stores in 35805
4) finding deals at Wal-Mart
5) attending Whitesburg baptist church when I can

Hiking to secluded locations would be #6.

Default And now back to a more family friendly top five

Top 5 Things I Love about AL Today:

1) The paramedics and EMTs that answered my 911 call last night. All personable and all very kind to me and mine.
2) The way everyone in my new neighborhood immediately wanted to help us even though we've only just met.
3) The relaxed atmosphere and the easygoing lifestyle.
4) The new dance studio we discovered for our daughter--wonderful director.
5) The fireflies flickering in our yard.

I live in Auburn but have been visiting my new grandbaby in Huntsville. Always looking for good places to visit and things to do while visiting up that way. The suggestions in this thread are great! Since food is such a hot topic, yall should also try Five Guys for the best burgers and fries I've ever had. All I can tell you in terms of directions is that it's in the same shopping center with Hobby Lobby and Target.

We've got a better burger joint than Five Guys in town. Check out Soul Burger at the SW corner of Bob Wallace and Triana. Make sure to tell Miss Kathy that you are a Soul virgin. Seriously, great local place with awesome burgers and the most warm hearted owner you'll ever meet.

I've been to that one and it was good.
But stay away from the Five Guys in Decatur (also in a Target shopping center...a baby-sized Target). It was NOT good.

Tomorrow we're doing the Northern Alabama Railroad Museum ride. It's ten miles, $12 for adults, $8 for kids. 10AM, need to call them a little after 9AM to reserve.

Anyone done this?
