Anyone know of any? Looking for lunchtime basketball games or just a hoop to shoot and rebound.

I know of indoor places to play (Dublin Park in Madison), but on a nice sunny day it's nice to shoot outside. Anyone know of any outdoor basketball courts within a couple mile drive of Bradford and Wynn? Heck, anyone know of lunchtime three on three or four on four or full court?

I should check the UAH campus somewhere....parking (permits) may be a problem but maybe I could ride a bike over there.

Thanks

Check along Technology Drive. I think there are some on both the North and South side of the road near the creek.

You are the king. I found them, right next to the tennis courts. Click on birds eye view if this link isn't set there;

Basketball Court north of Technology Drive

Check the south side too. There is a playground on the south side and I think some hoops there too. Believe the south side may be owned by UAH - but not sure.

Revisiting this, the one on the south doesn't seem to be there any more, the one on the north is a Teledyne court (I don't work for Teledyne and I don't want some security guard hassling me)....So, any more even as far out as Madison? I didn't see any at Dublin or Palmer. Any public parks not too far off the 565 with outdoor courts? I've been playing on the Arsenal off Goss but it sort of takes time to get off/on the base.

Thanks

I'm really surprised city parks don't have outdoor courts.

I'm surprised they don't have more recreational areas. Period.

If I had the money I would like to start a complex that adults could use till 3 Pm, then the kids would roll in after school, then at night the adults would come in for leagues. Have basketball, vball, outdoor soccer fields and stuff like that.

But it takes money.

Sherwood Pool has some older basketball courts, but nothing full size. no nets on the goals or anything. there may be outdoor courts in the front of the neighborhood, in sherwood park.
