Hey all,

I live in Southeast Huntsville, Weatherly Heights area and I have had a couple occasions where my house has felt like it was being shaken during the day. I figured this was either construction going on in the neighborhood or possibly Arsenal related activities. However twice now my house a really been shaken (feels like its coming from the ground) at night. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this. Maybe its common place living near the arsenal, and I am just not used to it yet.

(I spent my childhood in close proximity to the river in the Hudson Valley and never realized the darn thing was a fault line!)

Some times we just don't think about that sort of thing...

I heard a big boom yesterday and felt a slight shake. The arsenal I would guess.

Could be an earthquake, but more than likely:

quarry blasting
rocket testing
missile testing
ordnance disposal/testing

Somebody could tell you.........but then they'd have to kill you.

Regular tremors from the direction of NASA/Redstone have been common since the 1950s.
