we are a military family that will be relocating to Redstone Arsenal in the near future. We will be living on post (hopefully), and I am trying to identify strong half-day preschool and/or MMO programs that will accommodate both of our kids-- FYI, by the fall start of most programs, we'll have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. I am not entirely familiar with commute times from Redstone to other areas of Huntsville and Madison, so I am open to programs in the Madison area if folks think there are some worth the drive. Religious vs. secular is not a big issue for me . . . my main concern is identifying strong programs that have a nice mix of developmentally appropriate activities and unstructured play/creativity time.

If I am not mistaken, there is (are) a preschool(s) on the Arsenal. I thought I saw one being constructed??? off Goss Road???? I'm sure others will chime in.

I don't live in Huntsville anymore, but I can't recommend the pre-school at Willowbrook Baptist Church strongly enough. It is absolutely phenomenal. Obviously, it's quite a commute from the Arsenal being in Jones Valley. IMO, it is hand's down the best preschool in the area. I loved the things they taught my son, but more importantly, I loved the loving atmosphere and the structure of the program. They've been around for 30 years and their experience shows. It's not crazy expensive either.
