I have heard that there was a park in Madison. I went looking for it the other day and couldn't find it. Where is it located? I have heard that it has go karts and is bigger than Southern Family Adventures.

Rapids on the Reservoir was on Spillway Road in Rankin County, but it has closed. The Park on Lakeland Drive has go-carts, but I'm not sure what else it has.

this? doesn't seem like much - never knew there was such a thing there, except on occasion I would see people golfing (practice shot) passing by on 565 en route to other attractions in Bham
For what is offered I could snorkel in my bathtub and paintball with eggs (not the kind of small-children family friendly "waterpark").

Point Mallard in Decatur is close enough to Madison and from what I hear is 10 times better than Southern Adventures. No go carts or rides as far as I know, but I believe more water slides, a wave pool, and beach.

Southern Adventures is kind of rattletrap. I hope some investor buys it and revitalizes it sometime over the years.

There used to be a park with go-karts, miniature golf course and arcade where the RV place is now - it's right on I-565 near the airport.
No water, though. It's been gone for 7 or 8 years, I guess.
