Ditch running through it? Is it bad?

Also, if you live or have lived here, how noisy are the airplanes? Do they fly right over this subdivision?

I don't live there, but I drove many times (different years to see the construction progress as the S/D fits my budget). The ditch may not be a bad thing, as it shows flood risk mitigation, but again could be a bad thing that you are in a flood zone.Although the maps don't show a flood zone per se. It maybe a rain water runoff ditch. It must be something if the builder had to sacrifice 2 money-making lots to leave that area clear. And the ditch is plain unsightly (the 5' (?) pipe head visible)
Your web browser and the Maps site are incompatible+

The airplane noise- I'm always baffled as I rarely see/hear an airplane or as many as I would have expected when I'm out that way (driving around, surveying neighborhoods). It may be worse closer to landing, but I SAW and HEARD a big one off Eastview once (Metaire)! That was lower and noisier than I saw on County Line! (that's what was shocking to me)

Check the bird's eye view in MSN maps, Google's street view is not available in the S/D (119 kendrick st.)

I sent you a PM with a link to E_G subdivision map. Not sure what type of price is that listed (asking, selling), so I'd suggest looking at the next $25k range too, maybe through market stagnation, price negotiation etc. you manage to get the house for your target price.

Stone Crest is a lovely neighborhood. Peaceful and quiet. Conveniently located and great schools! Win win!

We never had any problems with airplane noise. It was never an issue.

I live in Lanier Lakes off Harbin Road (between Nance and Wall Triana). The homes start from the 150s and there are still empty lots (built by Adams).

It's situated between two more expensive neighborhoods (Stonegate and Hermitage Place).

Been here almost 2 years and it's been good (my first home btw).
