Default Idaho State University

If you are still looking for info on Pocatello, and the university, I think I can help. Pocatello is a nice town with alot of people in it. Depending on the type of person you are and the type of people you draw to you, you can have a great time here or you can get caught up in drama. Just like anyplace. Idaho state has a horrible football team but they have quite a few great programs that will let you either persue your masters degree or prepare you to transfer to another school to work on that particular program, if ISU doesn't have it. If you are not from where it snows every year, get used to being cold, because the winter temps range from about 25 (+/-) to as cold as -20 below freezing. But the below freezing here in Pokey is usually short lived and in the very middle of winter. The climate is dry and summer is usually mild, with average temps in August being about 90 (+/-). I hope this helps you make your decision.

Thanks for the info. I like cold weather and winter. I also like the mountains. I live in Greeley Co right now with about 90000 people and thats a little too big for me. I think Pocatello sounds about perfect with 50000 people.

You should check out Missoula, MT. It's a better school, better town, and an overall better college experience.
