A lot of people hunt around Morton Slough, off Duffort Road. Can't say I've ever tried.

DH and I have been wondering about that place! We drive by it every time we go to CDA but have never gone in. Thanks for the tip.

Sage, when my buddy and his wife were showing us around the area last summer, I said "hey lets stop there". They all looked at me and said "NO, you are banned from anything that sell firearms and ammunition". So I got to go to Costco instead.

Go to Fins and Feathers 18th and Sherman in Coeur d'Alene 667-9304.

If you want some okay to decent shore line hunting go on the shoreline of Cougar Bay, or basically any of the bays on CDA. If you have access to a little boat then that will open up a lot more hunting for you.
Your field hunting is very very limited in the CDA area. We have got in on some fields in the Hayden area and slammed them before but you have to know people for the most part for that.
If you go into Fins and start talking to people someone will let you go along with them and get you to some birds.
