Was she out of her freaking mind?! That's sick. What is wrong with some people?? It's disgusting. So what now? She'll see a hunter out, doing their lawful hunting, and decide to whack them? Gawd, I hope someone figures out who that lady was and I hope she is prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.

One of the men I work with is a falconer and, although that isn't my cup of tea, I'm not going to criticize his method of hunting. He abides by the rules of falconry. What he does is none of my dang business. I cleaned up my language, because I don't want to peeve anyone, but you all get my drift.
maybe it was the duck's friend enacting revenge

You driving a Jeep (Wrangler) tells me you have good vehicle taste, even if it is red.

Not bright red, but dark cherry red. Now if it were an automatic transmission, I can see looking down on that. It should be illegal for a Wrangler to be automatic.

Glad they caught the person, hopefully it will be more than just a $50.00 fine. Community service is always a better punishment...IMO.

I saw that headline and I simply could not read the article. I figure I've had enough of animal cruelty lately. My brain and my heart could not stand anymore.

Unless you are missing a leg, then an automatic should be fine.

No question. Gotta have a stick shift!
I've come out of the mountains more than once in the only gear that I could grab, doing a whopping 20mph all the way back to town. it was always better than walking.

Okay...good exception. Though it would be HARD to climb in and out of a Jeep with one leg.

I've heard the new automatic transmissions are better for hauling trailers. That makes sense to me.

An automatic would be the best for a falconer, that's for sure. The hoods the birds get are to keep them quiet, but they still have tantrums, and you wouldn't want to be shifting a vehicle with a PO'ed falcon in it.

(What do you thing, Sage? Did I knit the 2 topics together or what?)
