No, he tried it again in 2007 and was strongly opposed by the conservative right.

AZ has the right and duty to protect themselves from the illegal terrorist.

And yes, the Mexicans are committing crimes at a huge pace on American citizens and we need to put a stop to it.

1,190 home invasion in Arizona last year. Guess how many were by illegal terrorist Mexicans? 1,084 were. Nice of you to hand me some ammo!

Operation hunt down and deport every single illegal in America has begun!

So it is NOT your Governors job to protect you?

Arizona can enforce USA immigration law, but it cannot make immigration law, violates 10th amendment of the Constitution.

Arizona is not making immigration law, it is applying the existing federal law to the state level.

How are they creating immigration law? Aren't they merely trying to enfoce existing law that the feds ignore?

1070 is an Arizona law, not a federal law. Look it up. If they wanted to enforce the federal law, all they had to do is apply it, no need to draft another one.

Wrong, the federal law is not working and our current admin is not allowing the law on the books to be enforced.

The new law gives the state the right to use the federal law on the books without having to call the feds for every little silly issue they have. It can be handled at the state level.

Arizona should be commented for taking the proper steps to protect themselves from illegals since this admin seems to not be doing their job in protecting their citizens.

If you think this is just another draft of the laws on the books then you do not have any problems with it then do you?
