Santa Muerte culture? Drug user/trafficker culture?
Many of the corpses of women and girls murdered in Juarez showed ritualistic mutilation. A drug trafficker was once caught and found to be wearing a necklace of dried nipples - very likely from some murdered women.
No one is saying Mexican culture is a monolith but there is a subculture in Mexico and Central America that is running rampant right now that is also very bloody. From this guy's name, I would suspect he's Guatemalan but I don't really know.
Since drug trafficking is what brings in so many illegals because they not only have to bring the drugs over, they are needed for the very vast drug distribution networks that cover the whole USA. Many drug addicts get into drug trafficking because it pays for the drugs they require. It wouldn't surprise me if these guys were cranked up on meth.
