Yeah maybe they actually understand the game and were booing the bad performance kind of like how my team's relief pitcher gets booed every time he starts giving up saves. You guys are really letting you hatred show.
Oh and maybe you should do some research on the issue and you will find out 71% of illegal aliens DO use some form of Welfare and that most of those illegals are from Mexico.
Citation needed. Only a 1/3rd or so (using the 10.8 million figure for illegal population) have kids which are necessary to get welfare. If we use your guys bloated figure of 30 million, only ~12% have kids. How are the other 40-60% getting welfare?
I heard a rumor that some illegals LAUGH when watching our TV SHOWS. They haven't EARNED THE RIGHT to laugh. They should SIT QUIETLY while watching the show. If he's here illegally and he laughs they can DEPORT HIM. Otherwise, he's just another buffoon that gets to stay.

It's originally CIS-gathered data, which considered even reduced-cost school lunch programs as "welfare"...
So why do you suppose these Mexicans go to all the trouble sometimes risking their lives to come to America to usually do some menial job all the time under the risk of deportation?..
Because our jobs pay more, that's why. Also they know if they can produce and anchor or two their incomes will be supplimented by welfare for them.
It’s also pretty evident that the U.S. is a better all-around country than Mexico otherwise so many of their citizens wouldn’t have to come here to live. If they need a victory in a soccer game to give them some sort of pride, that’s fine — they don’t have a whole lot about which they can brag.
But where it’s crossing the line is when you boo the opposing team. Even if it is only sports, it sends a much larger message about the feelings of the people that booed the U.S. team: We may live here, but we’re not happy here and this is how we’re sending our message. Cheer on your country’s team, but don’t boo the team of the country in which you live. If you dislike America or its teams that much, don’t live here. And if you want changes, booing a non-partisan soccer team will do little to improve your plight.
I totally agree. Cheering on the team of your choice is one thing but booing the team of the country you are living in or are a citizen of is quite another.
Teams get booed all the time, it's not always some kind of political message.
Seriously. It's soccer. When I go to Portland Timbers games I boo the opposing team at every possible instance. But honestly if you go to most team US games against foreign national teams, the odds are that fans of the US team are going to be outnumbered. Are all those fans of the opposing team not supposed to cheer for their favorite team just because they're playing Team USA? No, people don't pay to go to sports matches to sit quietly.
I'll even admit that some of the Mexican fans at that game did exhibit poor behavior such as booing the US National Anthem--I mean that's the kind of thing I expect from Canadian hockey fans.
But the only reason this thread is on here, is because of the insinuation that all of those Mexican fans were illegal--that none of them could possibly be legal citizens or Mexican citizens that travelled up to LA for the game. But then again if they were illegal--it wouldn't make a difference what team they cheered for. If a bunch of illegal immigrants at a soccer game and cheered for Team USA, they should still be deported according to the law and most of the posters on this board.
