My husband and I are senior citizens. We lived in a small town in Illinois that welcomed the Mexicans with open arms. They are now the majority of the population there. We had to build a new school to accommodate the influx of Mexican students.
We eventually sold our home at a loss and moved because we were not safe in our own home and couldn't enjoy our lives because of threatening gestures made at us when we sat in our fenced-in yard in the evenings. So here we are starting over again at the ages of 67 and 69. Although retired my husband now has to work to make ends meet. It just makes me sad. Sincerely, Dollie

I too sold the house of my dreams to get away from the degradation of our neighborhood before we lost thousands on our home. As soon as we started seeing the graffiti painted on peoples fences we knew it was time to sell. It was once a desired neighborhood and is now known as one of the areas to stay away from.
This is what happens when we try to be nice to them. They turn on us like rabid animals. I completely understand how they feel. It hurts and it is wrong that illegals and even newlegal immigrants can run people out of their hometowns. You will notice that it happens to be the nice people who lose money on their real estate.

the sad part is that you and others that have been directly affected are being told your over reacting.
I am saddened each time I hear a fellow American is yet again a victim.
John1960, you just experienced a BENEFIT of DIVERSITY. EMBRACE IT! America will only get better when Whites are a minority with a non-White majority.
Don't you see Africa, Asia, and the Middle East embracing diversity at the expense of their crime, poverty, welfare, safety, rape rates, etc?
