Good point. There's like 11 or 12 million illegals in the USA, depeding on who you ask, out of a population of 330 million.

This 3.7 percent of the entire United States population has won. It's all over. Game over, man. They've won by picking our crops and washing our dishes for slave labor costs. And get some free schooling and possibly are getting rich off of welfare. Because as we all know, if you're on welfare, dude, you are loaded.
I'll let this guy explain how this is going to go from here on out. Well played, illegal immigrants. Well played.

(Some foul language and a LOT of whining.)

When you add in the number of their supporters that percentage is much higher. They have no right to any of those jobs and their employment goes way beyond just the jobs you mentioned. Free schooling, healthcare, etc. add up to a lot of tax dollars. They may not be getting rich off their low paying jobs and welfare but it beats staying in their homelands where the wages are much lower and there aren't any free government handouts.

If this trend continues they and their supporters will bring this country down eventually. We can't continue to have Americans unemployed while illegal immigrants are working for dirt cheap wages. We can't continue to have our taxes raised to subsidize them. We can't continue with these welfare handouts for their U.S. born children. We can't continue as a nation without respect for our laws and borders.

How high. What's the real number and how did you reach that number? I like hearing the truth. Show me the data.
I've seen studies that say they depress the job market for high school dropouts by about 7 or 8 percent.

The article is confused, to say the least. Even the title is derived from other areas than the convoluted paragraph you quoted. But let's assail that first.

An "Anchor Baby" is currently recognized to have U.S. citizenship by birth in the United States. Once that "Anchor Baby" turns 21, they can indeed register to vote. "Election Day Registration" (EDR) varies or is excluded by different states, but generally is not that someone can register on the day of a General Election: Election Day voter registration - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What happens by the logic that an "Anchor Baby" may join the military and then vote, is their vote counted or not?...

A person with a 14th Amendment birth certificate is usually just referred to as an American citizen. Why shouldn't an American citizen be allowed to vote?

What is a 14th amendment birth certificate? I think you mean a certified long form birth certificate that only begins the ID of the child. This LFBC is used to assume the child is born a citizen. Citizenship is determined by the DoS using the LFBC as but one form of ID for verification. A LFBC by itself is not proof of citizenship.

I've never given much thought to it, but don't states with larger numbers of illegal aliens have over-estimation in terms of the electoral college and congressional seats given to them? About 7-10% of California's total population is estimated to be illegal aliens and the state currently has 53 House seats, and 55 electoral votes. If the census would be adjusted for illegal aliens California would have a population warranting something between 45-50 electoral votes as opposed to its current 55. Since the Presidential election is decided by electoral votes, and California is such a solid blue state, this means illegal aliens effectively give votes to Democrats regardless of whether they spend an election night watching television or commit fraud by going to vote for a given Congressional or Presidential race. By the same merit Texas has a significant population of illegals that skews its congressional representative/electoral votes upward and gives votes to the Republican party.

Just a thought as long as long as we're talking about voting.

This was one of the reasons there was a big stink made about the census counting illegals, the (D's) wanted them counted while the (R's) didn't.
