Why would any of us who are merely anti-illegal immigration vote for someone who is anti-"immigrant"?
Exactly! Most of us have no problem with legal immigration. In fact, if not for massive illegal immigration, "immigration" would not even be on our radar. Furthermore, if I wanted to waste my vote, I would vote for Santa Claus, who, to my surprise, is one of the write-in candidates on the ballot.
So why not vote for the Constitution Party instead of Romney?
Using what passes for logic from you, apply this question to Obama and you get the same result.
BTW, with your attempt to make an election point and putting it in the wrong forum (it is an election issue as shown by your example) you continue to show contempt for those who are anti-illegal along with the laws of this country.

Yeah, I'm trapped too, I'd rather be voting for another former Governor, Gary Johnson. Really, I offered it from the perspective of illegal immigration. My logic, I call it as I see it.
With his stance? There should be a two-year grace period for illegal immigrants to attain work visas so they can continue contributing to America and begin taking part in American society openly.
Contributing to America? This guy doesn't understand the economic impact of illegals, why would he then be voted into office with an inability to actually understand the issue? Seems he is doing what he can to pander for a voting block. No wonder he never even made it in the debates, he couldn't even poll 15%.

He was a two-time Governor (higher stats than Romney or Palin can match) from my state of New Mexico, with strong opposition from Democrats (as Governor Martinez is finding out as well). There might be some strengths to the policies he offers, including for illegal aliens. On every ballot, except Michigan and Oklahoma, if he receives enough votes this time around, there would be federal campaign funding in 2016.

Reason: Adding "campaign"...

Reading what LR said about his proposition for illegal immigrants if he had gotten the nomination I could never have supported him. The only candidate that has the best interests of this country in mind is one who will enforce our immigration laws against all illegal immigrants. I know Obama isn't the one and not sure about Romney but I'll take a chance on him.

BFD! Stats? Who cares how many times he was elected. Strengths to his policies? Not when they burden the tax payer. Do you really think he will garner enough votes to even attempt to run in 2016. The man should see the writing on the wall, he can't muster enough votes to be a challenge.
He may have done some things as a Governor that would give him credit, but his stance in other issues is where he fails.
