I agree about regulating illegal aliens; they need to be deported instead of getting any sort of ID. Sheesh!

I would like to know what kind of fool thinks rewarding illegal aliens with a license is going to make them obey traffic laws being they refuse to obey the law from the day they step over.

A better question yet would be what kind of Americans would be in favor of giving those in our country illegally a DL anyway? They're supposed to be deported not licensed to drive.

I live in Illinois and I'm really upset over this.

Illegal must not mean a dang thing in this state. Illegal means they are breaking the law by even being here.

And, for the license, they have to establish residency in the state....if a person is illegally here, how can an Illegal immigrant establish residency??? I have to be able to provide a birth certificate, social security number, etc.

This state only wants the money which will come from licensing Illegals. Meanwhile the state goes down the toilet for not fixing the biggest problem facing state solvency, the state of IL employees pensions. The whole bunch of legislators and the governor need to be ousted and get someone in there who will work for the people.

I too am in Illinois and agree with you. It's bad enough they are sponging off the system but now this. In Illinois our welfare system is going broke partly because of them.

I agree with you.

Just as the parents of a good friend how they feel that their son is no longer with them. He was killed by a drunk illegal driver.

Or ask the motorcyclist i know who was mowed down by a illegal drunk driver again, how he feels! he has a plate in his head, his arms, and legs, he is not the same person, ask him what he thinks. He is lucky to be alive, but unfortunate that someone who should not have been driving period, hit him head on.

These rights should not be given to those that have such little respect for this Country, that they have to come here illegally.


What Country again, would grant these rights to Americans?

A big fool, as you say, rewarding illegals aliens with licenses, is no way going to make them drive better, or obey our traffic laws.

Most likely we will have more accidents on the road.

The motorcyclist i know who was hit head on by an illegal drunk driver, hit him and kept on driving. If it was not for another motorist who saw and witnessed what happened, and called police, he could have died. That kind of person, because he or she has a license, will not make them obey traffic laws.
